Vindication Is Coming

Psalms 52:7–9 (NIV)
“Here now is the man who did not make God his stronghold but trusted in his great wealth and grew strong by destroying others!” But I am like an olive tree flourishing in the house of God; I trust in God’s unfailing love for ever and ever. For what you have done I will always praise you in the presence of your faithful people. And I will hope in your name, for your name is good.

That passage right there… that’s it. That’s the tension a lot of people are living in.

You’re watching someone do people wrong, cut corners, maybe even tear others down… and somehow they’re getting ahead.

And if you’re not careful, it’ll mess with you.

But look at what the psalmist says in Psalms 52:7–9.

There’s a man who trusted in his wealth and grew strong by destroying others. That’s real. That’s not just Bible talk, that’s life. We’ve all seen it.

But then comes the shift…

“But I am like an olive tree flourishing in the house of God…”

In other words, “That’s not me.”

Pause for a moment and reflect. You’ve got to settle that in your spirit. You don’t win like they win. You don’t operate how they operate. Your source is different.

They trust in what they can build.
You trust in God’s unfailing love.

They climb by stepping on people.
You grow by staying planted in His presence.

And here’s what I love… an olive tree doesn’t grow overnight. It’s slow. It’s steady. It’s rooted. But when it’s established, it lasts.

Give it some thought. Their rise might be quick, but it’s fragile. Your growth might feel slow, but it’s secure.

“For what you have done I will always praise you…”

That means even before the vindication shows up, you’re choosing praise. Even before it all makes sense, you’re choosing trust.

Hold on a second. That’s real faith.

“And I will hope in your name, for your name is good.”

Not because life is always good.
Not because people are always fair.
But because He is good.

So if you’ve been feeling overlooked, mistreated, or like others are prospering while doing wrong… don’t lose heart.

Stay planted.
Stay faithful.
Stay trusting.

God sees it all, and He doesn’t miss a thing.

And in His time… He makes it right.

Word…
