In his book, Celebration of Discipline, Richard Foster said: of all the spiritual disciplines prayer is the most central because it ushers us into perpetual communion with the Father. This perpetual communion with God will make you stronger so that you will be available to bemused by God. The goal is to be taught to see things the way that God sees them!
